The Van de Kranenburg Stable set off as a hobby, but quickly became a breeding farm. We started to breed with "Illusion" (Ukase x Debuchée) just for pleasure. Her first foal was "Jolly jumper" (Major de la cour). We sold it at the age of two to a French amazone. The year after that, we went back to "Major de la cour" and our present broodmare "Kaline de la cour" was born. Breeding was at once assured with this mare. She only participated in races from the age of four. From her fifth year onwards, she has exclusively been used for breeding.
Her first foal was "Porche" (Kimball). Charlot Leterme rode her till the age of five, purely as a hobby. The horse seemed to possess more qualities though, and from the age of six, she was ridden by Bruno Jacobs. The horse quickly improved and received the qualification "promising". At the age of seven, "Porche" was sold to François Mathy through Philippe Vandelanoitte. François Mathy Jr. rode her for a few months and sold her to his pupil, Cindy Vanderstraeten. At present, she is still being ridden by Cindy.
In the meantime, Porche ‘s full brother "Quatro" was also being ridden. It is the same story. "Quatro" was also sold to François Mathy at the age of seven. The horse was a success story for François Mathy Jr. As a seven year old, he won 22 international competitions. Recently, Quatro has been sold to Saudi Arabian owner via the Mathy stables.
We break in young horses on a daily basis now. They are put into competition by Hendrik Denutte. He is a jumper himself and an expert in training young promising jumpers and making them ready for competition. They come out of our own breeding farm, have been bought or belong to owners.
In a short time, our stable has built a reputation and thanks to the support and confidence of the owners who work with us, we can train the horses in a proper manner.
